Keith Romaine Dickson Obituary

Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Dickson have received official notice that their son, Pvt. Keith Dickson, 18, of the marine corps, died of wounds received in action on Iwo Jima, and that he has been buried in the Fifth marine division cemetery on that island.

Besides his parents, Pvt. Dickson leaves two brothers, Lieutenant Doyle Dickson, a pilot in the army air forces, now in France, and Norman, 10 years old, a sister, Barbara Linn, 6, and his grandmother, Mrs. Thomas Cross of Jefferson.

Pvt. Dickson, born in Glidden Oct. 28, 1926, was graduated from Glidden high school two years ago, when he was only 16 years old. He enlisted in the marine corps in March, 1944, and received his training at Camp Pendleton, Oceanside, Calif. He had gone overseas last November.
