Lottie Jane Sayre Obituary
Services for Lottie J. Sayre, 85, of 3505 Sixth Ave., who died of an apparent heart attack Friday at Des Moines General Hospital, will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Glidden. Burial will be in Dillavou Cemetery in Greene County.
Mrs. Sayre was born in Chadron, Neb. and had lived in teh Glidden, Scranton and Jefferson areas. She was a retired rural school teacher and a former Glidden postmaster.
Survivors include four daughters, Catherine Wright of Taft, Calif., Betty Roelofsen of Ames, and Mary Jane Rees and Patricia Ann Logan, both of Des Moines; two brothers, Glenn Cross of Colorado and Thomas Cross of Des Moines; two sisters, Vienna Burger of Fort Dodge and Ella Dickson of Redfield, 10 grandchildren and several great-granchildren.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
